The Fifth Thief of Your Energy

5. Thoughts – How do you think? This is a tough one, it’s kinda obvious that it really messes you up when you think bad thoughts, but that’s the fifth one.

So to clear your head, how do we do that?

Well here it is….. Yoga!!!


Try meditating and then start to set your meditation daily and clear your mind of all thoughts….. the best way to do this is to focus solely on the breath and the space between the breaths. Inhalation, pause, exhalation, pause…..

This is a really simple meditation to get you on track…

Solar Meditation

Try this Solar Meditation from Shiva Rea’s book Tending the Heart Fire.

Early in the morning as the sun is rising, find a place to sit and take in the Sun’s solar energy.

Inhale and imagine the sun’s energy going in through the top of the head to the forehead, from the forehead to the chin, from the chin to the throat, from the throat to the heart. Tile the chin into the space between the collar bones and exhale.

Begin again, start breathing through the top of the head and then allow the energy to drip right down again to the heart.

Repeat this cycle focus on tracking the energy through your body over and over again.

And then once you get tired -Simply stop, close the eyes and breathe.

Keep connecting to the breath and allow the space in your mind to grow! Job Done:) Try this in the morning or in the evening as the sun is going down. Use the sun’s energy to settle and expand your mind.
